We decided to build Australia's most comprehensive information source (portal) to assist all Australians in learning about and sourcing environmentally friendly products. Until now, there has not been a single site dedicated to the research, collection and organisation of all the relevant information available. BeGreen.com.au is quickly becoming that site. With the input of local suppliers and groups from across the country, and help from Government and statutory bodies, we aim to make this site relevant to any person in the country.

How Are We Being Green?
100% Carbon Offset
Our offices are 100% carbon offset - Greenpower Accredited power provided by EnergyAustralia's PureEnergy program.
Paperless Office (almost)
We work hard to minimise any paper used in our offices. Printing of documents is not allowed, unless absolutely necessary for legal reasons etc; reducing paper usage, ink supplies and electricity (any printers are switched off at the wall unless in use). As much communication as possible is electronic - newsletters, invoices, letters.
Standby Power
All office equipment is switched off at the point when not in use and overnight. Computer peripherals are kept to a minimum and rarely plugged in.
Transport Emissions
Whenever possible we work from home offices, thereby eliminating any transport emissions to and from work. Products are delivered to our offices by couriers or, whenever practical, online to reduce car trips.
We are continually working to reduce our environmental impact and will update this page regularly as we implement new initiatives.
